 Dear Friends

I made it safely to Kenya. The sun greeted me warmly and I am getting adjusted to the stark temperature contrast. Days are filled connecting with friends and planning ministry activities. 

In January one of the most amazing trees is flowering.  Flamboyant trees are lining the roads and the orange blossom  are beautiful. A feast for the eyes and a testimony to God's creativity.

My heart is excited about the outreach a church in the slum area of Nairobi is faithfully providing. Our funding allows them to reach their neighbors with desperately needed food items and sharing God's love.

Skygo Dedication

 Dear Friends

This week we celebrated the dedication of a Skygo motorbike. Last year we were able to fund the bike for the vocational school "Mama Lorenza". When Covid hit, the purchase  of the motorbike was halted. But now they are ready to put it to good use. The girls learn how to bake bread and sell it to surrounding schools and hopefully hotels in the future. The bike serves them as transportation vehicle. This gives them another source of income and achieve their long term goal of self sufficiency. 

The celebration was "Kenyan Style"  God was praised with prayer, singing and dancing!

Dema Outreach

 We went to the remote rural area of Dema the last two days. People are engage in our sharing and we are always welcome with singing and dancing.
