Samburu Warrior

You defiantly know that you are in Kenya when you see the colorful tribal warrior walking along the road.

Lepracy

This is the first time I encountered a person suffering from leprosy.  I only know the stories from the Bible where Jesus heals people from the disease. What a joy it must have been to be healed.

The pictures are not easy to see, but this is life for people in the remote areas.

My heart goes out to the dear woman

Therapy Sessions

Dear Friends
Physical Therapy for  disabled children is often not affordable for the parents but its a huge benefit for the children. Over the last 9 month we provided weekly sessions for the kids. It has become a source of encouragement for parents and kids alike. God provided a wonderful young Kenyan therapist. She is dedicated and passionate about working with the children.

We started physical therapy sessions again

These chairs were made for the kids to "stand up"

Regular therapy is a key for the kids

 Msambweni Hospital

Yesterday I had the privilege to visit the Government Hospital Msambweni (correct spelling) 😊

A glimpse into the children's ward was very  educational and fun.

A Staff Member had birthday and we gave out cake for all patients and parents

 Dear Friends

Back "Home" Again

 Dear Friends

Welcome back "home" again, is the usual responds I receive from my Kenyan friends when I return to Kenya. It is good to be back. I hit the ground running. My first day was filled with a home visit. Little Saidi received a wheelchair last year and weekly physical therapy sessions. What a joy to see his improvements.
