Dear Friends
Welcome back "home" again, is the usual responds I receive from my Kenyan friends when I return to Kenya. It is good to be back. I hit the ground running. My first day was filled with a home visit. Little Saidi received a wheelchair last year and weekly physical therapy sessions. What a joy to see his improvements.
Dear Friends
We visited our friends in the vocational school and introduced the new students to the reusable hygiene kits. We are always amazed when girls tell us what they normally use when they have their days. It's a small but empowering gift for them.
Dear Friends
A huge milestone! We were able to give out wheelchairs and orthopedic devices. What a joy! The pictures speak for themself. Enjoy and rejoice with us. God is faithful and kind.
Dear Friends
We go deeper and deeper into the interior of the rural area. Making new friends and enjoying some great fellowship. Every time we meet first with a group of disabled people and then have a second meeting with the "general" population. Our team is amazing. We work well together in every aspect, even when the van gets stuck and it needs some hand-on work.People are very grateful and express their thankfulness "African Style" as you can see in the video.
Last year we met Naomi, a young mother with her tiny baby. She had no cloth for her child. Tina brought her some of the cloth her children grow out of. This year we visited again to bless her with more cloth and some food. She was overjoyed to see us again. We shared the story of Naomi and Ruth and invited her into a friendship with Jesus. It's a joy to reach people with the ultimate story of love, friendship and faithfulness.
